Earlier this year, I had the privilege of performing a special concert for the seniors’ group at my church. I called it “Joy Comes in the Morning” — a program weaving together pieces by Bach, Liszt, Margaret Bonds, along with a selection of hymn arrangements that trace the human journey of joy, sorrow, and worship.
For this Mini Musikhaus, I’m sharing a few highlights from that morning, which began and ended with Bach. He once wrote,
